Students choose inspiring teachers to give 'Last Lectures'

Three talented faculty members who are known for their ability to inspire students have been chosen for the 14th annual Last Lecture Series this month. Every year students nominate their favorite teachers, those who make them want to attend every class and strive to excel, though their courses are often the most difficult. US President Barack Obama on Wednesday slapped sanctions on three Mexican organizations he designated as cartels at the center of the violent drugs war, on the eve of his visit to Mexico.

Another quarter has passed, so it’s probably time we updated our Howard vs. Rudd polling comparisons, where we look at how the various polling metrics lined up for both the Howard and Rudd governments at the same comparable “ X month in government ” period. A new addition this time is the primary vote, so we may as well start with that.
